Background/Experience:
- Mark has extensive background
in serving the energy sector and is the co-leader
of the firm’s
practice in this industry.
- Mark has experience in many
general business aspects of the energy business,
including financial statement audits, income tax
planning and compliance, restructuring of power
contracts, buy-outs of power contracts,
organizational structuring, troubled debt workouts
and other transactional structuring.

Mark has key relationships with many major investors
and asset managers throughout the U.S.; as well as
some internationally.

Mark is responsible for a
wide-range of tax planning and compliance services
specializing in large corporate and partnership
businesses. Mark’s clients file tax returns in all 50
states; and 8 foreign countries.
- Over 26 years of accounting
experience, including seven years with a “national”
accounting firm in Syracuse in both the audit and tax
areas and four years as a tax manager with HYDRA-Co
Enterprises, Inc. (a power plant management and
development company).
- Received Bachelor of Science in
Engineering Science from SUNY Buffalo; MBA from
Syracuse University- both summa cum laude.
